Our Practice
Medicine the Way It Should Be
ReLife Regenerative was built on a simple conviction: that every patient deserves a thorough evaluation, a clear explanation, and a treatment plan designed specifically for them — not a protocol designed for the average.
Our Philosophy
Evaluation first. Treatment second.
We don't begin with a treatment in mind and work backward. We begin with you — your history, your biology, your goals — and let that evaluation guide every decision that follows. This is the foundation of everything we do at ReLife Regenerative.
Regenerative and longevity medicine is a field where enthusiasm often outpaces evidence. We take a different approach: physician-supervised, evidence-informed, and always individualized. We believe the most important thing we can offer a patient is an honest assessment — including an honest conversation about what a given treatment can and cannot do.
Individualized Care
No two patients are the same. We don't offer packages or one-size-fits-all protocols. Every recommendation is grounded in your specific evaluation.
Physician-Led
Every program at ReLife is designed and supervised by a physician. You are seen, evaluated, and followed by a doctor — not delegated to support staff.
Evidence-Informed
We stay current with the science. We offer treatments with a credible evidence base and are transparent about what is established versus emerging.
Long-Term Partnership
We are not a one-visit clinic. We build ongoing relationships with our patients and adjust their programs as their health evolves.
Dr. Steven Gelbard
MD · Neurosurgeon · Neurological Surgery & Regenerative Medicine · Founder & Medical Director, ReLife Regenerative
Dr. Steven Gelbard is a board-eligible neurosurgeon and the founder and medical director of ReLife Regenerative — a physician-led practice dedicated to regenerative, longevity, and integrative medicine across South Florida.
Dr. Gelbard completed his medical training with a focus in neurological surgery, developing a deep understanding of the nervous system, hormonal regulation, and the biological mechanisms that drive aging and decline. His surgical background gave him a rigorous, systems-based framework for evaluating patients — one he now applies across the full spectrum of regenerative and longevity medicine.
After years in neurosurgery, Dr. Gelbard recognized that most patients seeking to optimize their health, slow aging, or recover from injury were underserved by standard medical care. He founded ReLife Regenerative to fill that gap: a practice where every patient receives a thorough physician evaluation, a personalized treatment plan, and ongoing physician oversight — not a protocol handed off to support staff.
Dr. Gelbard's areas of clinical focus include hormone optimization, peptide therapy, regenerative injections (PRP, exosomes, prolotherapy), hyperbaric oxygen therapy, brain and cognitive health, weight management, and aesthetic medicine. He is committed to evidence-informed care — transparent about what is established, what is emerging, and what is right for each individual patient.
I started ReLife because I kept seeing patients who were told their labs were 'normal' but felt anything but. They deserved a physician who would actually listen, dig deeper, and build a plan around who they are — not who the average patient is.

The ReLife Approach
What makes our practice different is not any single treatment — it is the process we follow with every patient.
Listen
We begin every relationship with a thorough intake — your health history, your current concerns, your goals, and what you've already tried. We want to understand the full picture before we form any opinion.
Evaluate
We conduct a comprehensive medical evaluation appropriate to your situation. This may include laboratory work, imaging, neurological assessment, hormonal panels, or other diagnostics. We don't guess.
Recommend
Based on your evaluation, we develop a personalized treatment plan. We explain our reasoning, discuss the evidence, and answer your questions. You make informed decisions about your own care.
Follow
We monitor your progress, measure outcomes, and adjust your program as needed. A treatment plan is not a static document — it evolves with you.
